The dual power source accepts the included rechargeable battery (which charges via its own USB-C port externally) or standard AAA alkaline and NiMH cells - ensuring the P4R is never out of action. The Advanced Focus System provides the same spot-to-flood beam control as the battery-powered P4, with the addition of higher peak output and rechargeable convenience for regular professional use.
