What is Adaptive Light Beam and how does it work?

Adaptive Light Beam is an automatic sensor system that continuously adjusts both the brightness and focus of the beam based on ambient light conditions and proximity to objects. When you look up at a distant trail, it shifts to a focused, brighter spot. When you look down at a map or task close to hand, it softens and widens the beam automatically. This means the HF6R Signature delivers the right light for the situation without requiring manual mode switching — keeping full attention on the activity

What does each colour light mode do?

The HF6R Signature offers three colour modes alongside standard white light. Red preserves night vision by avoiding the eye adjustment required after white light exposure — ideal for camp navigation and map reading after dark. Green reduces visibility to many animals, making it the preferred choice for wildlife observation and nature photography. Blue enhances visibility of surfaces and objects in low-light conditions, useful for waterside activities and spotting wet terrain.

How bright is the HF6R Signature and how long does the battery last?

The HF6R Signature delivers four output levels: Boost (1,000 lumens / 190m beam), Standard (600 lumens / 165m / 3.5hrs), Mid power (250 lumens / 70m / 8hrs) and Low power (20 lumens / 15m / 60hrs). The 2,400mAh battery is larger than the standard HF4R series — supporting the higher output and delivering up to 60 hours at low power from a single charge.

The HF6R Signature is the flagship model in the HF Series — stepping up from the HF4R range in several meaningful ways. Output increases to 1,000 lumens (vs 650 lumens on the HF4R models). The 2,400mAh battery delivers longer runtime. Three LEDs provide spot, mid and flood beam options rather than spot and flood only. Adaptive Light Beam adds automatic brightness and focus adjustment. The grey metallic aluminium housing, reflective headband and included carry pouch complete a premium specification unavailable on the HF4R range.

What is the reflective headband for?

The reflective headband returns light from vehicle headlights and other sources, increasing the wearer's visibility to drivers, cyclists and other road users during road running, cycling and low-light outdoor activities — providing passive safety visibility from behind and to the sides, in addition to the torch beam illuminating the path ahead.

Does the HF6R Signature come with a carry pouch?

Yes. The HF6R Signature includes a dedicated H-Series 2026 carry pouch in the box — protecting the torch during kit bag storage and transit. This is not included with the HF4R range and reflects the premium positioning of the Signature model.
