P7R

P7R

The Ledlenser P7R is the torch that lives in the glove box, the toolbag and the drawer by the back door, and keeps working for years. This is the home of the full P7R range, plus the spare batteries, charging cables and spare parts that keep it running. Every P7R is rechargeable, focuses from wide flood to tight spot with one hand, and comes with a 7-year warranty when you register it. Choose the P7R 2025 for everyday use or the P7R Signature for maximum reach. For something a little different, the P7R 25th Anniversary Edition and P7R SE are special editions. Buying a spare? Match the full model name, including the year, so it fits first time.

FAQs

What's the difference between the Ledlenser P7R models?

Every P7R shares the same full-size shape, Advanced Focus System and magnetic charging. The difference is what each model adds. The P7R 2025 is the latest generation of the everyday P7R. The P7R Signature is the top-tier model, with the highest output and longest beam in the range. The P7R 25th Anniversary Edition celebrates 25 years of Ledlenser with a unique blue finish and an accompanying 25 year warranty.

What's the difference between the Ledlenser P7 and the P7R?

The "R" stands for rechargeable. The Ledlenser P7 runs on standard replaceable batteries, while the P7R uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, charged by USB-C on newer models or a magnetic cable on earlier ones. The P7R also offers higher output than the standard P7. Both share the same full-size shape and focusing head.

How do you charge a Ledlenser P7R?

It depends on the model. Newer P7R models, including the P7R 2025, charge through a USB-C port, so you can use the same cable as your phone or laptop. Earlier P7R generations use a magnetic charging cable that snaps onto the torch. Either way, you can charge from a wall adaptor, laptop, car charger or power bank. Each product page shows which charging type that model uses.

Is the Ledlenser P7R waterproof?

Every P7R is sealed against rain and dust for outdoor and on-site use. The exact level of protection depends on the model and is shown as an IP rating on each product page. The higher the second digit, the more water protection it has.
