The H7 SE runs on 4 × AAA alkaline batteries as standard — no charging required, always instantly ready. The housing is also compatible with the Ledlenser 1,400mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery pack (sold separately), which fits directly into the same compartment and charges via USB-A to Micro-USB without being removed — giving regular users the option to upgrade to rechargeable operation at any point without replacing the torch.
